September 2020 Student Leader of the Month

Dear Students, Faculty, and Staff, On behalf of the Washburn Student Bar Association, it is time to congratulate the September 2020 recipient of the Student Leader of the Month Award: Lindcy L. Knight (Gardner) Each month during the school year, your WSBA collects nominations from the student body and then selects one of the nominated students to recognize as having done an exemplary job of going above and beyond the normal demands of law student life to make an impact on our school. This student is named our Student Leader of the Month. 

Lindcy received the following nomination from one of her peers:  "Since day one of law school Lindcy has always been willing to help out any of her students in need without seeking any recognition which is why she deserves this honor. She has served as Student Study Group Leader, a member of Law Journal where she is currently a notes editor. Lindcy has also taken additional leadership roles with the Agricultural Law Society when asked by her fellow classmates. After graduation, Lindcy plans to return to Texas and work in the oil and gas field which she has made her specialty throughout law school. Lindcy exemplifies what it means to be a team player and deserves to be student of the month. She has always been kind to everyone around her. With the way the world is now, Lindcy deserves to know just how lucky the school is to have her." Please join us in congratulating our September Student Leader of the Month!
