March Student Leader Award

On behalf of the Washburn Student Bar Association, it is time to congratulate the March recipient of the Student Leader Award: Curry Sexton. Each month, the WSBA Executive Council selects one student who has done an exemplary job of going above and beyond the normal demands of law student life to make an impact on our school. This student is recognized as our Student Leader of the Month.

Curry is an exemplary student in every possible sense of the word. Curry is not only extremely successful in his personal academics at the school, but he is highly involved and successful in different extra-curricular activities at Washburn Law. Curry has served on Law Journal, TYLA Mock Trial Team, and the Moot Court team. In addition to being highly involved in extra-curricular activities, Curry demonstrates dedication to Washburn University School of Law by being a key player in the bi-annual Washcall campaigns every year. Furthermore, Curry demonstrates selfless service as a study group leader for 1J section students. If you see Curry in the hallway, please congratulate him on this awesome achievement!
